Skillet filled with rotini pasta and sliced kielbasa in a creamy sauce served with a bowl of green peas and toasted bread on the side.

How to Make a Cheesy Kielbasa Pasta Skillet:

1. Preheat the oven to 450 degrees. Cut the kielbasa into bite-sized pieces. Fry in a pan lightly sprayed with cooking oil until brown.

Sliced kielbasa sausage is browning in a pan with butter, which is the first step in cooking a kielbasa skillet recipe.

2. Add 4 cups of chicken broth, 1 cup of milk, 1 1/2 teaspoons of salt, a teaspoon of pepper and 16oz of uncooked pasta to a bowl. Stir to combine. Bring to a boil and reduce heat to a simmer. Cook for 15 minutes or until the pasta is done (I lightly cover the skillet with an airtight lid while cooking).

3. While the pasta is cooking, split the buns in half and place on a cookie sheet. Brush with softened butter and sprinkle with garlic powder, salt and parsley flakes. Bake at 450 degrees until lightly browned.

4. Cook the peas using your favorite method (I used the microwave, haha!).

5. When the pasta is done, stir in 3 cups of shredded cheese.

Shredded cheese is scattered over the hot rotini pasta and kielbasa in the skillet as it begins to melt in the cheesy kielbasa skillet.

6. Continue stirring until the cheese melts.

A hearty view of creamy rotini pasta and sliced kielbasa slices in a skillet, accentuating the rich sauce and brown sausage in this kielbasa skirt.

7. Serve the Cheesy Kielbasa Pasta Skillet with toasted buns and mushy peas!

Cover rotini pasta mixed with browned kielbasa slices with a creamy sauce in the pan, accentuating the texture of this kielbasa skillet dish.
